Thursday at Home

Leigh came down with a cold last night and decided to spend the day at home with the Spud. My father and step-mother are coming for a visit, so this not only gave her a chance to rest a little and spend some quality time with Connor, but also get some more straightening up done.

Connor was apparently pretty well behaved throughout the day. He took an almost 2 hour nap, was generally very cute (I've posted some of the photographic evidence thereof on my Facebook page), and even managed to help his mommy feed him. Leigh took a "two spoon" approach to the sweet potatoes and, by alternating between the two, managed to get all but two bites into (or at least close to) the Spud's mouth. He even got a chance to try out one of his "Nom Nom Nom" bibs from thinkgeek.com.

By the time I got home, Connor was a little fussy. He ate on and off for a while, then left a large, smelly present in his diaper. Once changed out of the soiled diaper, he was able to fully focus on the meal at hand and was soon finished and passed out.

That's all for tonight. Expect short posts over the weekend, since there will be visitors and I have some homework to attend to. But hopefully timely updates, at least.
